The PLMR88W is a "mechless" receiver, meaning it does away with the moving parts involved in playing back discs. It makes an ideal receiver for people who listen to most of their music in file form, whether directly from their computer, on iPods/MP3 players, etc. and don't require CD or DVD playback.

Front Panel USB Port

It seems like everyone has a few USB thumb drives sitting around these days. The PLMR88W features a convenient front-panel USB port. Load up a thumb drive with your MP3/WMA favorites, and play them back directly from the device.

Includes full-function remote.

The PLMR88W will display ID3 tag information, such as artist/track info on the green LCD panel. You dial in the sound with bass/treble equalization settings.

SD/MMC Slot

The PLMR88W also boasts a front-panel SD card slot--another option for enjoying those audio files. Easily swap in SD/MMC cards with different mixes of your favorite audio files.

Auxiliary Input
